Therapeutic/Sports Massage

Therapeutic / Sports massage addresses muscle dysfunction and injuries. Deep tissue massage increases blood flow in the affected areas, aiding healing and relieving pain.

Certain strokes will break down adhesions and knots in the muscles, increasing range of motion, muscle strength and function. However the effectiveness of this treatment depends on the type and age of an injury, and the rehabilitation advice given (including stretching and exercising). Some clients may require more than one massage.

If you're an athlete, a flushing deep tissue massage before an event can make a world of difference in your performance and after your event. It even helps to flush out lactic acid aiding recovery. View less

The custom massage is a client favorite, and the service that sets me apart from other massage therapists.

During consultation we can discuss any issues or pains you have and design a massage to suit you. If you have tight shoulders but also love having your feet rubbed and scalp massaged, your massage could look like this; 30mins back, 20mins feet, and 10 scalp.
