The Pilot Experience (30min flight)

Launch into your first helicopter lesson with a flight around Melbourne. One of our friendly instructors will sit next to you and guide you through as you take the helm.

After a cup of tea and your introductory 'effect of controls' lesson at our base, you'll be ready jump in the pilot's seat to see for yourself what we believe is one of the most exhilarating experiences in life.

Upon your return we'll sit down with you for a debrief to answer any and all questions you may have about the flight, and options for your training pathway.

The Pilot Experience + Hovering (45 min flight)

** Test yourself on this flight by trying your hand at hovering.

You'll start this little adventure at our base with one of our Instructors taking you through the 'effects of controls' brief, describing the basics of helicopter flight before we head out onto the apron and put you in the pilot's seat for your first flight around Melbourne.

As we fly around the city your Instructor will hand the controls over to you one by one, until you're in full control. Upon your return to the Airfield, we'll set down on our grassy training area and shift into a hover manoeuvre, once again handing over the controls.

We finish with a debrief back at the base, where we'll answer any questions you might have about your future career in aviation.
