The assessment can take up a significant portion of your appointment time, especially on your first appointment. This treatment involves stretching, dermal traction methods, precision neuromuscular therapy, myoskeletal techniques, active and passive muscle release techniques, trigger point work, along with blended deep tissue therapies. This is less of a massage and more of focused on pain management and rehabilitation. This treatment can be intense and you will have an active role in working with your therapist during the treatment. At home exercises and stretches will be demonstrated along with incorporating functional movements into your treatment to improve dysfunctions and improve body awareness and performance.
